When I open an OnGrid file it says "Excel was able to open the file by repairing or removing the unreadable content" but then nothing happens or it doesn't work. Why?

Multiple issues can cause that error:

  • The Tool file (OnGrid Tool.xls) may have been incompletely downloaded. Please check if the file size is less than 15 MB. If it is, ask Technical Support for an OnGrid Tool download link.
  • Having the language in Excel set to something other than English (U.S.). Please check the language settings in Excel.
  • Microsoft Office may not have been installed with VBA. Please contact Microsoft Support for specific instructions on VBA installation for your version of Office and Windows.
  • Microsoft Office may be corrupted. This may require reinstalling Office.
